Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a senior data engineer with strong experience designing and building production data pipelines and cloud data warehouses. You will work across multiple client engagements, often serving as the lead engineer on platform builds and modernisation projects.

Cloud Data Engineer - Databricks & BigQuery

A data engineer with hands-on experience building on GCP, with strong knowledge of Databricks and BigQuery. You will design and implement lakehouse architectures, build streaming and batch pipelines, and work closely with data science and analytics teams.

AI & Machine Learning

ML Engineer - Production & MLOps

An ML engineer with production experience - not just notebook experience. You will build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production environments, design MLOps infrastructure, and implement monitoring and retraining pipelines.

A DevOps engineer with strong cloud infrastructure experience to support our engineering and data teams. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and security configurations across client environments.

How We Hire

We respect your time. Our hiring process is direct, transparent, and designed to give both sides enough information to make a good decision. There are four steps.

  1. Apply – Send us your CV and a short note about what you are looking for and why Software Disruption. We review every application and respond within five business days.
  2. Intro Call – A 30-minute conversation with someone from our team. We will talk about your background, what you are looking for, and give you a real picture of the role and the company. No trick questions.
  3. Technical Round – A focused assessment relevant to your role. We test for practical competence, not algorithm trivia or whiteboard theatre. The format is agreed in advance and scoped to what the job actually requires.
  4. Final Conversation – A brief conversation with a senior leader, a mutual fit check, and the chance to ask any remaining questions. If it is a yes on both sides, we move quickly to an offer.

Average time from application to offer: two to three weeks.

Compensation

Market-rate salaries benchmarked for Dubai and the GCC. We do not lowball. Senior expertise is compensated like senior expertise, not like a starting salary with upside promises.

Remote, hybrid, and Dubai-based arrangements depending on the role. We care about results, not where you sit to achieve them. Core collaboration hours apply for team standups and client meetings, but we do not micromanage schedules.
